     Looks like there was an system software update from 4.3 to 4.4.

     where do you find the updates at?
    I tried the support/downloads page and they show no updates for my MD802 at all.

    mine is at 4.0 so I seriously need to update it

     I have 4.5, but the linking problem persists. Does anybody have a solution?

     You use the Autel update tool. Mine is on my desktop. To get the updater go to the Autel webpage and click on  Diagnosic Sofware then PC suite on the left, then select Autel PC Suite version 6.21.

     I can't do that as it takes me to the product registration page and will not accept the serial# and register password of my unit.

    Supposedly the tool dealer I bought this from had it worked out with autel, but it looks like it's a no-go

    I'm going to give them one more try to straighten this out and then I'm going to return the tool to the dealer
